Elin Kling has to be one of my favorite style inspirations. Everything she wears looks amazing and she often sets out treads like the famous red leather jacket, high waisted shorts or the navy blue army pants. Kling is defiantly on my radar.

Jean Paul Gaultier

From June 17 to October 2 of 2011, an exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) will be devoted to French designer Jean Paul Gaultier called, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk. An event i'll defiantly be checking out!

VERSACE FOR H&M

 A Versace and H&M collaboration will debut November 17, 2011. The collection will be for both men and women including apparel, accessories and more. Leather, prints, and color will all be present in this collection available at 300 stores as well as online!

Red being my favorite and only worn color on my nails made me happy to hear Dior launched three new nail polishes in this shade. The reds are all inspired by eras in Dior fashion; 

1.Trafalgar is a reminder of the flashy red designs sent down the runway in the 60's

2.Icone came from a polish Dior released in the 50's to go the 1955 Atout Couer dress

3.Gruau was inspired by a 1947 drawing of the Ispahan dress by Dior's illustrator Rene Gruau

FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS

Candy stripe, braided or hippie are really cool when using bright colors for these summer looking friendship bracelets. They are being worn more and more and are fun and cheap as well. I recommend going on youtube to learn how to make these yourself, it is really easy!
