Mara Hoffman
The colorful and lively wilderness themed Swim 2012 Mara Hoffman runway show has to be the best i've seen all summer! There is so much i love about these pieces including the high waisted bottoms, color combinations, and the sexy one pieces. Hard not to mention the double braid that really meshed in well with the theme on a whole. Mara Hoffman is defiantly the go to brand to set your eyes on this summer!

KANYE

This Fall Kanye West will be launching his own women's fashion line in collaboration with designer Louise Goldin and Central Saint Martins' professor Louis Wilson, which are both extremely knowledgeable in the fashion world. Can't wait to see the results!

VOGUE PARIS

Vogue
I really love the color and attitude these pictures hold for the August issue of Vogue Paris. It always helps when favorite model Freja Beha is present along with Lara Stone and Natasha Poly. Each picture tells a story, it's really great. These are my three favorite.

LIGHTS

Chanel
Karl's idea of flashlight shoes sprung up from his past 2008 runway, although this time it was done better   with the runway set up as the streets at night. The lights were the highlight of the Fall-Winter 2011/12  haute couture show.

MCQ

McQ SPRING/SUMMER 2011: A four-legged model in McQ, photographed by collaborator Niall O’Brien during McQ’s Northwest American road trip. The end of the road…
McQ SPRING/SUMMER 2011: “There was a night near the end, when I had plucked one last wilted beer from the leaking old ice chest and wandered over to a lone picnic table. It was in the Oregon desert and we had decided to spend the night sleeping under the fiery starlight.” -Ryan Bosetti, in Spring/ Summer 2011, shot by Niall O’Brien on the McQ road trip
McQ SPRING/SUMMER 2011: Small-town America’s fair grounds, corndogs, marching bands, campires…All were a backdrop for UK-based Niall O’Brien, who collaborated with McQ to shoot the Spring/Summer ‘11 collection as he wandered about the West.
McQ SPRING/SUMMER 2011: McQ on the road. The collection was captured during a drive up the coast of California into Washington State, Montana and Idaho, with spontaneous stops in small towns along the way.

Alexander McQueen
I love the McQueen ads for spring/summer 2011 photographed by Niall O'Brien in the American Northwest. It really captures the feeling of fun and living in a typical American town which is what I think the goal was.
